All estimators know that time is money, and we’re a firm believer that takeoffs shouldn’t steal your time.
With another year nearly over, we’ve got something that’s going to change how you approach your takeoffs from here on out. 👀
Ready to see what the big deal is? Let’s dive in.
Selections 2.0
Making multiple selections due to rotated symbols and floating references could often slow down the takeoff process, which is why we created a smarter way to handle takeoffs and eliminate frustration.
Countfire’s newly released Selections 2.0 automatically counts symbols in 90 degree rotations, and detects floating references in any position.
This means more matches from a single selection, speeding up your takeoff process and keeping you competitive without the stress.
Take a look at this short tutorial video to see it in action.
Countfire customers are already experiencing the game-changing impact Selections 2.0 is having on their workflow:
"These improvements are fantastic… the best takeoff system we’ve ever seen." – Keith Stott, Senior Estimator at FES Group
"The rotating and floating reference features are phenomenal." – Michael McCoy, Lighting Project Manager at City Electric Supply
Default disciplines
You can now start off each takeoff in Countfire with your default disciplines already created – saving you time on repeatedly creating the same disciplines for every takeoff.
It’s easy to do from the settings pages and you can create or delete the disciplines that will be added automatically to every takeoff you create.
Multipage PDF selector
Your PDF prayers have been answered with our next new feature! You can now select which drawings from multipage PDFs you’d like to use in your takeoff.
Say goodbye to frustration (and time wasted!) trawling through multipage PDFs unnecessarily – in just 3 simple steps, you can import just the drawings you need. Less clicking, more counting!
